Camera etrusca is an adventurous photographic trip but with all the comforts! The accommodation is first class, we shall wine you and dine you, we'll get you comfortably over the most rugged terrain and take you to places that you would never be able to find on your own and all this with your tutor close at hand to encourage and advise you. This is a landscape where almost every civilization has left its mark: Roman ruins, Etruscan temples, mediaeval castles………If it all gets too much there's always the pool to laze by (or a lake to jump in). Groups are small - never more than six - so you will be a part of a  friendly team of like-minded enthusiasts.

Patrick Nicholas, founder of Camera Etrusca   graduated in Photographic Arts in 1977 (Polytechnic of Central London). He works as an advertising and portrait photographer in Italy where he has lived since 1983 .He has held many one-man exhibitions not only in Italy but elsewhere in Europe over the years. He has been a member of The Association of Photographers in London since 1990.

we'll get you there

one way or another

We cater for all levels from the pointand shooters through the dedicated amateurs who would like to move up to a new format  to those who'd like a guided trip to the best places at the best time of day  without too much  tuition.

We'll take you off the beaten track, down dirt roads, over fields, through streams and then we'll take you to that simpatico ristorante by the shore where you'll find a bowl of pasta, a grilled fish and a chilled bottle of Orvieto Classico Bianco

Patrick is aided by  Matthew Smith, Lodovico Pignatti, and Gabriele Angelini

Gabriele (in the background loading his camera) and Lodovico. Taken on an island in the Venetian lagoon on a special workshop in Venice.
