Small groups - maximum six people on a course We are based in the ancient city of Orvieto in Umbria - bed and breakfast in the historic centre in a 17th century palazzo (next to the clock tower in the middle of the photo above). Course leader Patrick Nicholas has his photo gallery in the same street (below)
Take advantage of low cost flights to ROME (Ciampino) and VENICE with: www.easyjet.com or www.ryanair.com Ryan allows 15kg of baggage, EASYJET 20kg so the latter get the award for being most photographer friendly especially as they allow heavy cameras to go on as hand-luggage. For VENICE we recommend EASYJET or British Airways (Ryan fly to Treviso which is a fair bus ride to Venice) Dates 2008 for the last workshops of the season a return to last year's prices! No fixed calendar this year - just say when you want to come and we'll build the calendar round the first firm bookings. First come first served! So far we have the following fixed dates:

The Barabbata street festival a lively, colourful event held every year on 14 May in Marta by Lake Bolsena. The procession of gaudily clad carts and floats passes right under our window at dawn so if you get up early you'll get a grandstand view from our balcony! We thoroughly recommend this event which is quite unique even in an area famous for its folklore and ancient traditions.
