Top tip for anyone who has had a zoom lens error . My lumix LX7 came up with this near the end of a trip to Rome.
When home the vacuum tip worked a treat no lens error .
Three months later I had to do this again as I had many dust spots on the sensor
I also vacuumed out from the battery compartment . It can definitely save a camera from being a paper weight.

Would like more information on your photography tours. We will have been staying in Orvieto and will have already visited Assisi. Looking for a one-day tour (possibly private) of other nearby areas as we won’t have a car. Do you have anything that fits? If so, suggested itinerary?

Not interested in Instagram shots - landscape and scenic towns.

Some pines are felled because of disease but the major cause seems to be irritation with pine needles and resin falling on cars, and the risk of the tree blowing over, though this latter can be combatted by judicial pollarding. I think that basically the Stone Pine is unloved by modern Italians.

Pine tortoise scale, introduced from America in 2014, and having no natural predators in Italy, may be responsible for some of the culling. The pine shoot beetle is a pest to the tree as well. Honeydew is produced, and being a sticky sugar, attracts pests. Since the crowns are so high, only being injected with deterrent is effective in non-decimated trees. A petition should be signed by the population decrying the wanton destruction of what is essentially living Italian heritage. The stone temple ruins are protected from a religion long gone, but to destroy a healthy tree. What of environmentalism and the need to moderate temperatures around private and public property. Both natives and visitors are out and about all hours of the day and no one needs to bake in the midday sun. The trees provide food and shelter for the beautiful birds and their song as well. I believe this destruction is excruciatingly short sighted. Save those exquisite trees! I love the cypress as well.

There is a beautiful and substantial umbrella pine in Cambridge Botanic Garden. I always admire it when I'm there. True, this is the driest part of the UK, but depending on where you are I would give it a try.
